Let's Test Hose Bibs in 80 lbs. of Dry Ice

Sponsored Video

Everyone has a few hose bibs that are exposed to the cold from time to time. In the South, where Matt typically builds, most builders do not use frost-proof hose bibs.

In the North, builders must use hose bibs that shut off in keeping with codes, usually a brass or copper shut-off hose bib that uses a knob to shut off.

Aquor makes a sleek black hose bib that encompasses a device that inserts directly in and shuts off when needed.

Matt explores the different materials and teststthree different hose bibs on a freezer (and a whole lot of dry ice).

He has no idea what to expect but is surprised by the results of this science experiment.
